This year I filmed several of the Outlaw Triathlon events for the team at rb-create, who produced this film. As usual, filming these sorts of events needs several cameras to be in different places at the same time.I was therefore just one part of a larger team. I was covering most of the action on the ground, on foot as well as from the back of a motorcycle.

The Outlaw series includes half Ironman as well as full Ironman length events in several places around the country. I filmed several events in Nottingham and one at Holkham in Norfolk. They are open to different abilities from first-timers to world champions and the atmosphere is fantastic. What I loved about these events is that the athletes can cross the finish line with their families and everyone gets a finishing tape. Also everyone stays on for the last finisher to cross the line to massive applause and pyrotechnics. We had a range of weather to contend with across these different events, from clear blue skies to biblical downpours. See below for proof of the latter!
