When I got my call sheet for Thursdays filming I knew it was going to be a memorable evening. Transvestites, free vodka and live 90’s music acts sounded like a fun combination. The shot list included a few more clues to the sort of evening I had in store, with cryptic references to filming someone in the loo and an interview with a dog.

It certainly lived up to my expectations, being an evening sponsored by a vodka company in conjunction with the irreverent satirical gossip book “Popbitch”. The acts included the girl band Cleopatra (Comin Atcha!) who I filmed behind the scenes as well as on stage. Before you ask, the dog didn’t turn up so I never got that interview, but I did get to film in the ladies loos…
