It must all be downhill from here. The past few days have allowed some good paramotoring in lovely smooth conditions. The highlight today was flying over West Wittering beach and seeing all the people in traffic jams heading to the coast before cramming together on the beach. Fun? Not as fun as flying over it all in lovely warm temperatures before landing on an emptier stretch of beach for a swim as I did a few days ago. The fact it appeared to be a male only nudist beach only slightly detracted from the experience!
I’m off the week after next to Morocco for ten days on a combined flying and climbing trip in the Atlas mountains and will be bringing my camera. The aim is to climb to the summit of Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa, before unpacking a paraglider and flying down. If this sounds familiar, maybe it’s because we attempted it last year. We were thwarted by strong winds but have our fingers crossed for better weather this time. Business as usual on my return at the start of November.
