For those of you who may have got the impression that I have lately been doing more paragliding than work, I would just say that in addition to working almost every weekend, I do work in the week as well! Take tonight for example. It’s just before midnight and I have been filming an awards ceremony at Old Billingsgate, in the City, right on the Thames.

It was a bit more low key than the sort of star-studded awards ceremony that may come to mind. Rather than celebrities I was filming… pizza restaurant staff. Yes I know, not very rock and roll but it’s honest work! I was providing a live video feed to two huge screens either side of the stage as people went up to collect their awards. Tomorrow I’m back at Billingsgate to film another function. No details as yet but I’m hoping I’ll be mingling with film stars…
