After two weeks paragliding it was sadly time to get back to work. Therefore I found myself in Mauritius filming a five day wedding at the luxurious 5 star hotel Le Saint Geran. Emilio Estefan was there with his band who played one evening by the pool as part of the festivities which also included dinner, dancing and fireworks on the idyllic Ile Aux Cerfs. I was there with Chris, another cameraman and between us we shot over 30 hours of footage. Thank God I’m not editing it!

For those of you who think that sounds like a holiday, the filming was non-stop and I didn’t even get to swim in the sea. It would have been fantastic to explore the island but as we were either working or sleeping, we didn’t have time. What we saw was spectacular and the Mauritian people were the friendliest I have ever met. I’ll just have to go back another time! Thanks to Chris – I couldn’t have managed without you!
