On Saturday I managed to get a couple of hours paramotoring and filming around the seafront at Portsmouth with Michel and Laura. We followed the beach having taken off from some playing fields a short distance inland. There were lots of people out enjoying the sunshine and even a kite festival at Southsea. From there we flew round the Spinnaker Tower before turning round and heading for Hayling Island and West Wittering. We landed on the shore at Hayling Island before taking off again as the wind was picking up and large clouds were approaching.
The plan had been to fly over the Solent to the Isle of Wight, but the weather wasn’t ideal. At least it is a good excuse to return to fly here again soon. Thanks to Michel and Laura for looking out for me. I found out that I need plenty more practice taking off and landing in unfamiliar places!
