Yesterday I was at the Guildhall to shoot the Conference on Liberty, organised by the Centre for Political Studies. It was opened by Britain’s only living Nobel Prize winner for literature, VS Naipaul and speakers included former Australian PM John Howard, Charles Moore, Lord Saatchi, Michael Gove, Roger Scruton and General Petraeus.
