It was an early start before dawn to get to Hyde Park in time to film people arriving. Half marathons are over so quickly and cover so much ground that it’s always a challenge to film everything we want and you always feel like you need more cameras.
In the end we had a steadycam rig, a slow motion camera, and two other cameras doing interviews and on the course. I was on the course, filming the prep, then the runners at Buckingham Palace, Admiralty Arch, then the finish. The highlight was gaining access to the top of Admiralty Arch from where we were able to look down the Mall to Buckingham Palace. The rb-create team have as usual put together this great edit.
