Sunday was ideal flying weather with lighter winds than forecast so once again Tom and I drove down to the coast near Brighton. I was determined to get up in the air with my paramotor. After some intensive ground-handling practice (thanks Laura and John!) I was ready to try my first powered flight.
Facing the wing, I pulled it into the air, turned round to face forwards and applied power. Everything went perfectly and soon I was up in the air. I was only up for half an hour but wanted to stay up until the sun went down! Up high it was rather hazy due to an inversion layer so the visibility wasn’t great. Next time will be a longer flight…
