Having heard of favourable flying conditions down at Devil’s Dyke, Tom and I drove down this morning for some paragliding. It turned out to be the best days flying I’ve had so far.
The sky was clear and it was rather cold but staying up was effortless. I was amazed how many pilots were there on a Monday (around 30?) – there must have been a lot of “sick days” taken in the South of England today! I had three flights in total. On my first flight I had to land after 40 minutes as I could no longer feel my fingers. The next one was well over an hour and the final flight was as the sun was low on the horizon, glinting off the sea.
