After a few weeks of wet, windy weather, yesterday dawned clear, crisp and still. I drove down to Devil’s Dyke and had a fantastic, (if cold!), days flying. I had 3 or 4 flights and looked down on frosty fields from 1,700 feet. My hands and feet were kept warm by chemical warmers and so I managed to add a couple of hours to my airtime whilst practising take offs and landing approaches.
I really need to buy a stills camera – the views were unbelievable… but you’ll have to take my word for it! Thanks again to Frances Valdes who took this one a few weeks back!
