Last night I was filming an event in the Great Room at the heart of the Grosvenor House Hotel. It had been transformed into a theatre for the evening for the 800 or so guests. The entertainment was hosted by Alistair McGowan and there were a number of acts, including the Royal Ballet, Leslie Garrett, Curtis Stigers, and The Jersey Boys. Austin Healey and Erin Boag, the runners up of Strictly Come Dancing in 2008 also made an appearance, as did Faces of Disco, semi-finalists in this years Britain’s Got Talent. The highlight of the evening though was Kylie who did a 45 minute set and got everyone on the dance floor.
